First, see the map of the lake on which we are situated Click here for online Topographical Maps of Canada. Just enter a place name and specify the scale to your purpose. You can save the images to your computer. Topographical Map sheets through the mail. Here is a list of dealers who sell topo. maps through the mail. They sell all of the maps produced by the Government of Canada, including navigational charts. Canoe Route Maps. A very good and large folding map sheet of the region's canoe routes is produced by a Chapleau firm called Rec-Maps. It contains route information along with a graphic depiction of the routes. Last we looked, this map cost $16.95 Can. plus tax.
