Stores in Chapleau

Stores & services in order of priority.
All directions are from the door of our boathouse in town.

Beer Store

Turn right at the first stop sign and go to the very end of Pine Street. The beer store is at the very end.

Bait Store

1. Turn right at the first stop sign and go all the way to the Beer Store.

2. Turn right at the Beer Store and then about half a mile on the road that parallels the railway track across the river. You will see the bait store on your left.

Liquor Store

1. Turn right at the first stop sign.

2. Turn left at the second intersection.

3. Go to and cross Birch Street at the first stop sign (red blinking light) and look for the liquor store close by on your right.

Grocery Store

1. Turn right at the first stop sign.

2. Turn left at the third intersection.

3. Turn left at the first sop sign. The store is right there.

Other Stores

1. Go to the second stop sign (Birch St.) and turn right.

2. Go two blocks and park someplace. Hardware, clothing and other stores are all in the main business block.

Coin Laundry

Same way as "Other Stores" above. The laundromat is inside the corner convenience store, opposite the post office.
